These high grown Organic OP (Orange Pekoe) leaves produce a brisk, medium to full bodied tea liquor with Assam-like biscuit notes and a floral/citrus like finish characteristic of well made African teas An excellent choice for an intense breakfast tea that can be enjoyed either with milk and or sugar. This tea changes it's taste as it cools leaving you with an abundance of great tastes. "Rukeri" is part of the Sorwathe tea estate, the highest garden in Africa. In addition to the climate, the high proportion of China tea plants lends this tea its unique character, which is not typical for African teas.
