Irish Breakfast Full Leaf

$0.00

A premium tea that combines all of the characteristics of a top quality Assam blend: A fine well-made leaf, many golden yellow tips, full-bodied, very aromatic malty taste, a full-bodied cup and an exquisite long lasting flavour. Irish breakfast tea is a blend of several black teas, most often Assam teas. Irish brands, are heavily weighted toward Assam. We make our Irish breakfast tea blends specifically for North american market. Because of its strength, Irish breakfast tea is commonly served with milk, but may also be consumed plain or with sugar. In Ireland, where milk and dairy products are traditionally a major part of the diet, most people drink tea with milk. Being a black tea, it has a strong flavour and because of the broken leaf it has a higher caffeine content than most green, oolong, or white teas.
