Hibiscus sabdariffa, Hibiscu flower. The intensively red calyx is particularly popular as a daily beverage in hot regions. The high concentration of fruit acids produces a refreshing infusion, which can be drunk either hot or cold.   Recipe: 2 heaping tbsp. broken hibiscus flowers1 tsp. Peppermint TEA1 1/2 tsp. Stevia leaves2 cups boiling water Pour boiling water over TEA mixture and steep for 15-20 min. Strain into an 6 cup pitcher. Add several cups of ice and fill rest of the way with cold water. Serve chilled.
