Black
Black tea is a fully oxidized tea. and is usually stronger in flavour. Both varieties of the Camellia species (sinensis and assamica) are used to make Black tea: The assamica variety mostly from India is best used for black teas, not green because of it's large bold strong leaf. In the Chinese language, Black tea is known literally as "crimson tea", a closer description to the colour of the tea produced. The name Black tea could otherwise refer to the colour of the leaves after processing. Learn more about Black Unflavoured Tea
