Mentha piperita. This Peppermint, like many spices & herbs is believed to have medicinal properties when consumed. May help against upset stomachs, inhibit the growth of certain bacteria, & may help soothe & relax muscles when infusions are inhaled or applied to the skin. For best results, avoid boiling a peppermint tea, and instead add simmering water to a cup of the material instead of boiling directly.
